1987 - Formed “Mahaveer Co-op. Credit Society Ltd.” (Credit Union) at the age of 20. The then youngest Founder - Chairman from India in Co-op. movement.
1991 - Formed “Kolhapur District Co-op. Credit Societies Federation.” District level Federation, having 1200 member societies. (CU) and served as a President for 3 years.
1994 - Became a ‘Director’ of - (MAFCOCS) Maharashtra State Co-op. Credit Societies Federation Ltd. State level Apex Organization of Credit Societies. (CU)
1997 - Became a ‘Vice - President’ of - (MAFCOCS) Maharashtra State Co-op. Credit Societies Federation Ltd.
2000 - Became a ‘President’ of – (MAFCOCS) Maharashtra State Co-op. Credit Societies Federation Ltd. - Selected as Executive Director Committee Member of Kolhapur Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
2002 - Re-elected as a ‘President’ of - Maharashtra State Co-op. Credit Societies Federation Ltd.
2003 - Formed a unique and first of its kind Co-operative Corporation named, ‘Maharashtra State Co-op. Credit Societies Deposit Guarantee Corporation Ltd.’ (DGC) for protection and guarantee to individual Depositor. (Stabisation Fund)
Collected Rs. 100 Crores (22 Million US $) as a Share Capital for this Corporation within three months.
2006 - Formed first nation League of Co-op. Credit Unions ‘National Association of Credit Societies & Federations in India’ (NACCFED-INDIA) Apex body of 63000 CU’s in India, representing 43 million Individual members.

OTHER ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN CO-OP. MOVEMENT
  1. Prepared Model bye-laws for Co-op. Credit Societies (CU), which were accepted by Government as it is, and made it mandatory to all Societies (CU) in the Maharashtra State.
  2. Editor of the Monthly Magazine - “Maharashtra Co-op. Credit News.” & “Naccfed Credit News”
  3. Author of following Books for Co-op. Sector -
    1. Legal ways of Loan Recovery.
    2. Provisioning for N.P.A.
    3. Guidelines for Credit Societies (CU)
    4. Procedure and management of meetings of Co-op. societies.

    4. Prepared a syllabus for Diploma Course for entry level Staff of Credit Societies
    5. Prepared a syllabus for Diploma Course for Officer level Staff of Credit Societies.

    1. Organized State level conference at ‘Shirdi – Maharashtra’ attended by 4250 Co-op. leaders from the State. In 2002 as President of ‘State Federation’
    2. Organized National level ‘Mega Conference’ jointly with Co-op. Department of Government, Asoociation of Asian Confederation of    Credit Unions – Bangkok at Pune attended by 26000 Co-op. leaders from all over India.
    3. Organized State level ‘Mega Conference’ jointly with Co-op. Department of Government, at Pune attended by 12000 Co-op. leaders.
    4. Since 2002 as a President of State Federation organized 72 ‘District level Conferences and Workshops,’ 23 ‘Regional level      Conferences and Workshops’ for Chairman, Board of Directors and CEO’s of Credit Societies.

    1. Member in Government Committee formed for Audit classification norms for Credit Societies.
    2. Member in Government Committee formed for Control and Regulation of “State Co-op. Union” Apex Training Institute formed in 1934.
